Leveling Up Once Again
In 2024, Bird’s Eye Maine hit a high watermark—literally and figuratively. I upgraded again, this time to a 2021 Sea Hunt 234 Ultra. The journey to pick it up involved trailering it all the way back from Georgia and surviving a near miss with an 18-wheeler, but the boat made it home safely.
The new ride opened up fresh parts of Casco Bay that I hadn’t yet explored with guests. I also had time to enjoy the water personally, sneaking in a few off-days with friends to visit a favorite riverside restaurant before it permanently closed.
Business continued its upward trajectory. While I don’t share numbers, I can say we’ve grown every single year since launching. Guests kept gravitating toward the unique sunrise tour—still exclusive to Bird’s Eye Maine—and were booking longer, full-day adventures more often.
A guest from Rhode Island summed it up best: "Our half-day tour was the highlight of our summer... a day we won’t forget."
Five years in, I’m more grateful than ever to share this stretch of coastline. Bird’s Eye Maine has become more than just a business—it’s my way of helping people connect with something wild, beautiful, and deeply memorable.
